File types

Animations typically run at 24 frames a second. If you imagine the size of a computer image file, for example a Jpeg, thats quite a lot of data! Many animation file formats use compression technologies to reduce this, and often-times this also depends on how the file will be presented or viewed. For photo-realistic animation, each frame must be calculated by a computer for shadow and reflection effects.

A full mechanical engineering service is provided, including full motion simulation of machine, industrial and consumer products including production tooling.

Reduced sized version of an animation to show layout of crew mess van to customers. The animation required four powerful PC's running overnight to produce the photo-realistic lighting and texture mapping effects.
