Quite simply essential; product design and car insurance
The generation and development of new ideas that will eventually lead to the development of a marketable product is known as product design. This industry is both lucrative and vibrant and as a result the services of those who specialise in this incredibly extensive area of work are in high demand. Something else that is in high demand is a vehicle assurance policy that can also be seen as dynamic. As most motorists became bored with the old basic three levels of cover a long time ago there has been a great need within the insurance industry to create policies that are dynamic and appealing to car owners whilst still remaining both affordable to the customer and lucrative to the insurer. Product designers also have to make their services both appealing and affordable to businesses that require their services. By conceptualizing and evaluating the feasibility and viability of products they perform an indispensible service to businesses and companies that are looking to release new products onto their particular or respective markets.
As these markets become quickly saturated with seemingly similar products it is in the best interests of those companies to enlist the services of product designers to make their products stand out from the rest. Standing out from the rest is certainly what the new breed of vehicle assurance policies do. Whilst the policies that we have all become bored with; third party only, third party fire & theft, and comprehensive are essentially generic, one dimensional policies, these new tailor made Car Insurance policies allow the car owner to seemingly interact with the policy in much the same way that a product designer interacts with a product. Just as a product designer selects which elements should stay and which should go, a dynamic assurance policy allows the car owner to do much the same, although within reason. There is a basic legal requirement that all vehicle assurance policies contain the third party property damage clause as this clause protects other drivers and passengers and therefore can be seen as something that should be kept as an essential part of a policy.
There are also many components to a package that manufacturers will receive from their product designer. Staring with concept generation, the product designer in conjunction with the manufacturer discusses the ideas and discusses feasibility in regards to manufacturing. They then move onto the other processes which include 3D CAD, the drawing layout, rapid prototyping, packaging and the presentation. Perhaps the most dynamic and revolutionary of these processes is the 3D CAD process in which the product designer utilizes 3D meetings with the clients and simulates mechanical features amongst other things. There are also many processes involved in setting up or taking out an assurance policy for vehicles. The first of which would be to peruse the websites of various insurers in order to ascertain which of the numerous assurance companies are going to offer the best deal by looking at what they are offering and obtaining an online quote.
